You are about to book the ultimate island excursion experience. Rather than being crammed into a vehicle with others and on a driver’s timeline or having a guide rushing you and limiting how much of the island you see, when you book a buggy excursion with us, you will be in control of your day at your own pace. With Island Buggy Excursions, we guide you via text message from one suggested stop to the next. As you receive the suggested stop via text message, type the name in your Map App on your phone and off you go. It is then up to you to determine how long you stay at each stop. We try to incorporate sites that not everyone gets to visit and we also will recommend places to eat at that are more hidden and local favorites.
Another feature to ensure that you have the best experience possible, is that our buggies are equipped with built-in tracking devices so that our staff can monitor your exact location on our map. This allows our staff to know how you’re progressing throughout the day, they know how to get to you should there be an issue with your buggy and most importantly, we make sure to get you back on time to your cruise ship port for our guests who are on a cruise ship.
While you will be driving your very own Buggy on your own tour of the island, we want you to enjoy the fresh air and all of the beautiful sites. We do drive on the left side of the road here in St. Thomas. No need to worry as you will be given instructions and our guests typically adapt within the first few minutes of driving. It will be a day you and yours will never forget. Included in your buggy tour, will be chairs for you to use so that beach chair rental will not be necessary. Please bring towels if you plan on dipping in our beautiful beaches.
Your day excursion which includes the Buggy, fuel, chairs, an itinerary created by us specifically for you, our staff in constant communication with you and insurance, this incredible buggy excursion for one or up to four guests, is only $394 all inclusive.
Pick your date and book online to ensure availability. Upon arrival at our location, one of our guides will finish the booking process with you, issue you a Buggy and your tour. You will be given some instructions on road safety amongst some other do’s and don’ts. Remember, we drive on the left side of the road!
While our hours are typically between 8:00am and 5:00pm, your day excursion can be any time between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm.
- All drivers MUST Be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Pre-book your excursion on our website to ensure availability.
- Be present at the time of the excursion to complete contract.
- Anyone driving the buggy during the excursion, must be listed on the excursion contract.
- You will need to have a valid credit card at start of the excursion for a $500 hold that would cover damages less than $500 or applied as the insurance deductible should damages exceed that. The hold will be dropped at the end of the excursion provided no damages to the buggy.
- Our Buggies are not 4x4s and therefore not meant for off road. Paved roads only!
